Episode 11 - The Mental Health Comedian w/ Frank King

Hello again my goslings. This week's guest is Frank King. A writer for Jay Leno and The Tonight Show for 20 years, Frank has been a long time stand-up comedian dating back to his start at the famous Comedy Store in 1984. He has fought a lifetime battle with depression, and thoughts of suicide, turning that long dark journey of the soul into 5 TEDx Talks, sharing his insights on Suicide Prevention and Post-vention. He is "The Mental Health Comedian." In this episode we discuss potential Halloween costumes, wack country music, death metal, and celebrate the Lakers while we laugh at the foolish Clippers. Frank King lets us in on his over 30 year long comedy journey, his suicidal ideation, and how he has turned his mental illness into a superpower to help those who are also struggling. This was an important one.
